Weekly Vocabulary 12/10/13

 Ambrotype-is a photograph that creates a positive image on a sheet of glass using the wet plate collodion process

Tintype-made by creating a direct positive on a thin sheet of iron coated with a dark lacquer or enamel and used as the support for the photographic emulsion.

 Heliography-an early type of photoengraving made on a metal plate coated with sensitized asphalt.

Daguerreotype-The image is formed on a silvered metal plate and transported to a camera via a light-tight plate holder.
